Hello, my name is Yolanda I’m married to a wonderful guy (Keefe) and have three beautiful children Shania, Kameron, and Devin.

I have been doing childcare since Nov. 2000 and I understand the difficulty in finding good, quality care for your child. I feel I have the love, knowledge, patience & experience to provide a warm, stimulating & loving environment in which your child can learn and grow. It’s my goal for you and your child to feel safe and loved in my home. I am licensed as a large family childcare with a capacity of 14 children. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education and continue my education by attending various workshops & seminars. I am a credentialed Pre-school teacher and have been trained by the Red Cross in infant, child and adult CPR & First Aide. I’m proud to be part of the growing field of early childhood educators. Enrolling your child in my childcare should be an exciting experience for both you and your child. We are here to help make each day a joyous one for our children. MY PHILOSOPHY

I believe in a safe, secure, loving and stimulating environment where children will experience success and develop a sense of self worth. My role is to extend, reinforce and compliment a child's home and family. I believe a child should not be overloaded with too many academic activities. Learning should be fun and include plenty of time for creative play. I believe children learn a lot through play, so I offer a wide range of age appropriate toys and games geared to stimulate all their senses. I also believe in a commitment to help my children and families who are graduating to kindergarten be prepared. What will your child learn? They will learn their most valuable lessons through play i.e. independence, develop language skills, how to share, respect for self & others, cause & effect and much more. Each child receives individual attention and will never be forced to do something they do not wish to participate in.

THE CHILDCARE PROVIDER

Although I’m not their mother, I care for them each day.
I cuddle, sing, and read to them, and watch them as they play.
I see each new accomplishment, and help them grow and learn.
I understand their language, and I listen with concern.
They come to me for comfort, and I kiss away their tears.
They proudly show their work to me, I give the loudest cheers!
No, I am not their mother, but my role is just as strong.
I nurture them and keep them safe, though maybe not for long.
I know someday the time may come that we will have to part.
But I know each child I’ve cared for is forever in my heart!!!
